We often get asked which materials can be used for rag rugging. Well the simple answer is pretty much anything really! In modern day rag rugging t-shirt material tends to be the most popular medium as it is soft and unlikely to fray but any flexible material is fair game… anything from cotton and fleece to sweet wrappers and plastic bags. Each material gives a different effect.
