The Knitting & Stitching Show 2017:
Oh my golly gosh! Wherever has the time gone? It feels like only yesterday that I was booking a stand to display my Ragged Life wares at the Alexandra Palace Knitting & Stitching Show 2017 and now it’s only a couple of weeks away (11th-15th October)… eek! This is one of the shows I look forward to every year – it’s great for inspiration, kitting you out for the Christmas craft rush and meeting people who are as fanatical about crafts as I am (yes, they do exist!)
Either way, this is the first time I’ll be manning a stand at the show (normally I just run workshops) and I’m a little bit nervous. Running a stand involves being ON for five days straight. I would consider myself pretty outgoing and sociable but five days of explaining what rag rugging is can get a little tiring.
Which is where you come in…
Ragged Life is on Stand E7:
If you’re planning to visit the show then do pop along and say “hi” – it’s always nice to see some friendly faces 🙂 You can find me on stand E7, which I’m reliably informed is near the main entrance to The Mall (at the end of that long corridor from the entrance lobby). If the map below means anything to you then you can find me where the yellow circle is.
If you’re looking for a flavour of the show, but aren’t planning to come along, I wrote a blog post on some of the exhibitors I found at the 2015 show, which you can see here or you can stay tuned for my highlights from the 2017 show.
At the Spring Knitting & Stitching Show at Olympia, I stupidly sold out of kits before the end of the final day (it was a toss up between getting enough sleep to function like a normal human being or having enough kits) so there’s no way josé that I’ll be running out this year. This is how many kits I’ve assembled so far…
Haha, I’m not taking any chances!
I hope to see you there 🙂
