Our “Grecian Seashell” rug was inspired by the traditional pottery and aquamarine colours of Greece. I’ll never forget touring the Greek islands during that summer holiday of first year of uni with my dad’s battered old rucksack and enough suncream to sink a battleship. Either way I will never forget the vibrant colours of the buildings and nature there and they’ve inspired a good deal of our work here at Ragged Life.

In this piece, in particular, the neutral colours were used to represent the shells and sand of the beaches of Greece whilst the blues represent the gorgeous colours of the bright blue sea and sky.
