May’s “Rag Rug of the Month” is “Flower Power” – a true Spring to Summer inspired piece. As with all Ragged Life’s rugs, it’s made with 100% recycled materials (old t-shirts, ripped pillow cases, unloved blankets amongst other bits and bobs) and is entirely hand made.

We love how the bright colours sweep away the cobwebs of winter!

This piece demonstrates quite nicely the effect you get of combining different tones of similar colour materials in a rag rug with the multi-tonal purples, blues and yellows. The quirky lopsided flower makes the rug look slightly naive – it would be the perfect rag rug for a young girls bedroom.
